Who are we?

We are people who have found salvation, forgiveness, joy and peace in the Lord Jesus Christ.

What do we teach?

• The Bible is the inspired Word of God and through its teaching, we discover God's will for our lives.

• The Lord Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God.

• Through His death we find forgiveness.

• Through His resurrection we receive new and eternal life.

• Through His Spirit, we receive power to live our lives.

• Baptism for believers - by which we declare openly our faith in Jesus Christ.

• Communion of the Lord's Supper in which we remember Jesus' sacrificial love for us.

What is our authority?

• All our teaching and what we preach is based on the Bible.

• The Word of God is our final authority in all matters of belief, doctrine and behaviour.

• We seek to interpret the Bible's teaching in a meaningful way in today's world.

• Under the direction of God the Holy Spirit, we are responsible for all our actions and decisions.

• We hold to the authority of Acts 2:42 that as a Church, Bible teaching, Prayer, the Lord's Supper and Fellowship are priorities for Arundel Baptist Church.

• We seek to be a Jesus-centred people and we declare that Jesus is Lord!
